Ocean View Civic League Adopt-A-Spot Clean-Up 

 Help keep our adopted spots litter-free and beautiful.  OVCL maintains the area around Pretlow Library, Monkey BottomPark, and the Ocean View Elementary School area.  10am-12pm. We are looking for volunteers to help, call Chad Parker at 287-8177 or email us at debra.[email protected]

Keep The Lights On! from Norfolk Public Works.

With more than 30,000 street lights to maintain, the City of Norfolk needs your help in finding lights that are out or malfunctioning.  To report a broken street light please locate:

  • 9-digit Pole Number (located at eye leveland starts with "NO")
  • Nearest Address
  • Description of Problem (out, on/off, broken lens an/or exposed wires)

Standard Response time is 15 days (additional time may be required). 

Report outages to Dominion Virginia Power at 1-888-67-3000 or log onto  http://www.dom.com/

Report outages to Norfolk Public Works at 664-7301 or log onto  www.norfolk.gov/publicworks/streetlights.asp.
